8th Annual 2018 Contest Entry Form

Enter you or your group to the Ukulele Foundation of Hawaii UKULELE CONTEST!
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to amateur ‘ukulele players over the age of three as of January 1, 2018.
ENTRY FEE:
US20.00
*No Kama'aina discount
DIVISIONS:
1) Solo: Keiki (ages 3 - 12)
2) Solo: Teens (ages 13 - 18)
3) Solo: Open (ages 19 and over)
4) Group: Open to groups of two or more, up to a maximum number of 10 performers. Must have one ‘ukulele player in group of two to five, and three or more ‘ukulele players in groups of six or more.
*Multiple entries are not allowed.
*Anybody can enter the contest by uploading an unedited video on YouTube and submitting an entry form.
PERFORMANCES:
Competitors are free to select the song of their choice but all songs must be at least four minutes in length. Use of electrical effect pedals and/or distortion boxes are not allowed.
HOW TO ENTER:
Submit the entry form online at www.ukulelepicnicinhawaii.org/contest/ with an online video link to a live performance of the entry song by December 31, 2017.
Pay the entry fee online to complete the entry.
FINALISTS:
Six finalists from each division will be selected to compete at a live competition on February 10, 2018.
Qualified finalists to be informed by email by January 10, 2018.
PRIZES:
Grand Champion - $500 USD Scholarship (presented by Ukulele Foundation of Hawai'i) plus $500 USD value Gift Tickets (presented by International Market Place)
MVP (Most Valuable Player) - The opportunity to perform live at 10th Annual ‘Ukulele Picnic in Hawai‘i on February 11, 2018
KZOO Radio Prize - The opportunity to have your original song broadcasted on KZOO Radio for 12 months starting in February 2018.
Finalist Prizes - 1st place for each division will receive fine ‘ukulele by Kanilea. 2nd and 3rd place will receive honorable mention prizes. Every finalist will receive a small gift.
Special Jury Prize - One (1) winner from among all finalists will be hand-picked by the judges and will receive a 3-nights stay at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa.
STEPS TO COMPLETE YOUR ENTRY
1. First, upload your performance (in video) to your YouTube account.
(Please do not edit or overdub the material. Any edited materials will be disqualified.)
2. Next, enter your details in the following form to complete your entry. You must fulfill your $20 entry fee.
3. Once you qualified for the qualifying round, you or your band will enter the final round.
Qualified finalists to be informed by email by January 10, 2018.

【演 目】 全部門共通／自由曲1曲（4分以内）

・演奏はウクレレが主体であること
・演奏時間が4分を超えないこと
・演目は自由選択、インストゥルメンタル曲／ボーカル曲は問わない
・オリジナル曲／カバー曲も問わない
